Zack Speir 

Alumni & Development Associate

Zack Speir is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Zack focused his studies in gender and sexuality courses, and he spent two years working in a clinical lab researching aggression perpetrated towards gender non-conforming people.

After graduating, Zack worked as a research assistant for documentarian Ryan James Yezak on his upcoming film, Second Class Citizens, which explores legal inequalities in the US for gay and lesbian people.

Zack joins the Point team after working as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In his free time, Zack enjoys traveling, volunteering for The Trevor Project and theater.


Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
