Jennifer Barbetta

Jennifer is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and is the Chief Operating Officer of the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group within the Investment Management Division (IMD). The AIMS Group invests in leading private equity, hedge fund and long-only managers around the world, designing portfolio solutions for institutional and individual investors. In aggregate, these businesses represent over $80 billion in assets under management, with a team of over 200 professionals in New York, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Sao Paulo, London, Geneva, Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Bangalore.

Jennifer also works with the Global Portfolio Solutions business which focuses on customized asset allocation, risk management, portfolio construction and advisory solutions for institutional investors. Additionally, she serves on various IMD Divisional Committees and is an advisor to the firmwide LGBT Network.

She previously acted as the Chief Operating Officer in the Private Equity Group from 2003 to 2005, having joined the Private Equity Group in 1997. Jennifer joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as an analyst and was named Managing Director in 2006. Jennifer earned a BS in Finance from Villanova University where she was a Beta Gamma Sigma scholar.

She lives in Montclair, New Jersey with her wife, Victoria, and their two children.
