Chris McCall

Point Scholar  2002 – 2003

Chris was the youngest president in the history of the Pre-Law Society of the University of Wisconsin. As an openly gay columnist at one of the two student newspapers, the Badger Herald, he was also a source of encouragement and inspiration to the gay community on campus. Chris worked three jobs to make ends meet throughout college. Yet he still found time to maintain a high level of activism, including interning in the office of Sen. Russ Feingold, who has endorsed gay marriage. Chris would like to continue his education in law school and his activism as an attorney for the ACLU.

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
