His LSE funded doctoral research combines the social studies of childhood with the critical lenses of feminist theory, queer theory, and postcolonial theory, in an attempt to re-articulate the figure of the child.
In 2011, Jacob graduated with Distinction from the Gender Institute’s MSc in Gender (Research) program, where he was awarded best degree result.
Thanks in part to the assistance of the Point Foundation, Jacob completed his BA in feminist studies and community studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2009.
