Julian Breece
University of Southern CaliforniaConcentration: Cinema and Television ProductionGrowing up in Washington, DC, Julian was an academic standout and activist with a particular penchant for literature and the arts. He excelled while studying History and Literature at Harvard University, graduating with honors. Julian completed his his MFA at the University of Southern California's prestigious school of Cinema Television where he co-founded the USC Queer Film Festival and co-chairs the Out-for-Reel Queer Film Society. An award-winning screenwriter, producer and director, Julian's mission as a filmmaker is to create first-rate film projects that tell the rich stories of often-overlooked communities of color and sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. In Julians own words: As a filmmaker, I know that my vision cannot be left to chance; I intend to pursue it with utter seriousness and hunger. |
