Washington, DC Cornerstone Event

Point Foundation held its annual Washington, DC Cornerstone Event on Thursday, May 8. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed unique small bites and cocktails specially designed for the event from local restaurants and bars, including 2 Birds 1 Stone, Daikaya, Mandu, Menchies, NikiSushi, Rice and Sushi Taro. Guests heard from Point Scholar Nicole Sterling who shared her compelling stories about her experience with Point Foundation. Other Point Scholars and Alumni included Harjant Gill, Chris Hanson, Tanner Liechty, Nick Martinez and Mira Patel.

Under the direction of the Host Committee Chairs and DC Trustees Celina Gerbic, Jack Jacobson, James Mann, Aimee Schimmel and Jennifer Sobieski, the Host Committee raised over $76,000 – a new milestone for the DC Cornerstone! Special thanks goes to all of our event sponsors, participating 14th Street restaurants and mixologists and host committee for another successful Point Cornerstone event!
