Peter Lease is Ernst & Young’s People Leader for the Northeast Sub-area. In that role, he leads human resource functions by overseeing all aspects of talent management for staff through partners, including: recruitment, learning, diversity and inclusiveness, leadership development and advancement, performance management, compensation, community engagement and succession planning. Peter is a member of the firm’s Northeast Inclusiveness and Diversity Council and is an Executive Sponsor of the firm’s tri-state Beyond network (the firm’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, ally employee resource group). He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ernst & Young Foundation.
Peter has been with Ernst & Young for almost 30 years and also is a senior client service partner serving the health care industry, focusing on assurance and related services in the health care provide sector. He has served a variety of clients including academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, community-based hospitals and other companies. Peter has had National training and policy responsibilities for Ernst & Young relative to Federal compliance auditing and reporting issues.
