Welcome:

Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  As a gay man and as a son of the South, Jack has always had a special interest in the intersection of religion, sexuality, and politics.  To a large degree, this interest embraces the various paths Jack has followed in his life.

Since graduating from law school at the University of Cincinnati, Jack has worked as a litigator, specializing in product liability and employment defense. He also has handled a large number of pro bono cases involving the constitutional rights of inmates.  Jack was the first openly gay person elected partner in a major law firm in Cincinnati.

Jack also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law and the University Of Dayton College Of Law where, among other courses, he teaches a seminar titled “Sexual Orientation and the Law.”  He has served on the Board of the National Gay and Lesbian Law Association, Caracole, Inc., a residential facility for persons with HIV, and of the Cincinnati Opera.

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
