Susan von Herrmann

Susan von Herrmann is a partner and a member of Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP Estates & Trusts Practice Group. She focuses on estate planning and trust administration, advising clients on strategies for minimizing estate and gift tax liabilities and charitable planned giving. In addition to advising traditional families, Susan is experienced in assisting non-traditional families in estate planning matters.

She graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Political Science and received her J.D. from University of California Berkeley’s Boalt Hall. She serves on the Board of Regents of the Point Foundation and is a member of the planned giving subcommittee. Susan is a member of the Grace Cathedral Planned Giving Committee and Clausen House Heritage Advisors.

Susan speaks regularly on the topics of estate planning for blended and non-traditional families and charitable planned giving.
