Ryan Miller

Point Scholar 2004 – 2008

Ryan A. Miller received his master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and bachelor’s degree in journalism with honors from The University of Texas at Austin, completing both degrees as a Point Scholar. He currently serves as Director of Campus Climate and Student Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin. In his role, he focuses on campus climate initiatives including bias incident response and diversity education, and he also works with Federal TRIO Student Support Services.

Previously, Ryan directed the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center at the University of North Florida, where he also served an adjunct faculty member in education, designing and teaching Intergroup Dialogue courses. He is currently pursuing a PhD in educational administration at UT-Austin.

Ryan is also a member of Point's Board of Directors.
