Aaron Tabak

Development Associate

Aaron Tabak has been active in LGBT causes since 2004. At Wesleyan University, he led a discussion group dedicated to providing a safe space for students to talk about issues of sexuality in their lives, co-chaired the campus' Queer Social Committee, and co-chaired the planning and event committees for the 2006 National Union of Jewish LGBTIQQ Students (NUJLS) conference. He has interned and volunteered for several LGBT nonprofits in his hometown of Philadelphia, including Mazzoni Center, an LGBT health clinic, and Equality Advocates Pennsylvania, a statewide gay rights organization.

Since moving to New York City in 2008, Aaron has worked as a Development Intern for MyJewishLearning.com, an educational website, and has done fundraising work at Gay Men's Health Crisis and The Right Side of History, an LGBT civil rights startup.

Aaron graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008, with a BA in American Studies. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
