Ray Noll
Program Administrative Assistant
Ray Noll joins the Point Foundation as a recent graduate of UCLA where Ray studied in the Women’s Studies department, focusing research interests on LGBT issues and, more specifically, transgender rights and Queer theory. Prior to UCLA, Ray also attended the City College of San Francisco and, while taking classes there, worked in the Women’s Resource Center as a liaison to students needing assistance with financial aid, housing, and many other issues. In addition, Ray devoted a year to a CCSF-sponsored program whose mission was teaching poetry in inner-city, low-income high schools and whose praxis was poetry centering on topics such as domestic violence, empowering communities, and police brutality. Ray also served as an educator for Project SURVIVE, a program devoted to interrupting the cycle of domestic violence, promoting safer sex, and building healthy relationships. Most recently, Ray has divided time between managing a small, family-owned restaurant in west L.A. and working in the UCLA Office of Media Relations where Ray gathered experience in public relations and emerging media formats.
