2007 Leadership Conference

Point Scholars receive training in areas of leadership development, accountability, community service, advocacy and philanthropy at Point’s annual Leadership Conference. “Point – Leading in the World, Expressing the Leader Within” was the theme for the 2007 Leadership Conference held in Los Angeles, California from July 27-30. Newly appointed scholars arrived early for a special orientation session and were welcomed into the Point Family by the attending Founders, Board of Directors, Board of Regents and Point’s Management Team. The entire Point Family participated in three days of interactive workshops and panel discussions focused on topics important to Point’s mission: academic rigor, mentorship, gratitude, public relations, finance, leadership, personal achievement and community service.
