In support of Point Foundation, over 150 philanthropic individuals attended Point’s Boston fundraiser on October 4, 2007. This marked Point’s first major fundraising efforts in Boston, which raised $106,000.

We are pleased with how many people (Bostonians) attended to support Point Foundation - and for that we thank them. Guests were able to connect with scholars based on the same hardships they faced when coming out - it was a beautiful thing - not because of marginalization, but more so how they were able to overcome such hardships through fortitude, strong support, and ambition. The obstacles they faced truly helped defined who they are today. Not only do we provide financial support for these scholars, but we give them hope. Point Foundation is creating a legacy - not only for themselves, but for the future leaders of the LGBTQ community, and I am very honored to be part of it. – Adrian Budhu, Regent
