On Thursday, September 18th, appoximately 125 people attended Point's first-ever friend raiser event in Atlanta, GA to learn about Point Foundation and hear from local Point Scholars Kee Kee Watkins, Scott McGee, and Steven Dry. The two-hour cocktail reception was held at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery and was organized by a local host committee spearheaded by members of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Atlanta offices. Though the main purpose of the event was to spread awareness and introduce the work of Point to Atlanta, approximately $14,000 was raised.
