Jennifer Sobieski is a certified public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and has been with the firm for close to a decade. In Washington DC she is a tax manager in the company’s mergers and acquisitions group. She previously worked in PwC’s San Francisco and Denver offices primarily with real estate clients providing tax consulting and compliance work. Jennifer first became involved with Point in 2008 through her involvement with PwC’s LGBT group; OPEN (Out Employee Professional Network). She has continued being a leader in her market’s OPEN group supporting PwC’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and the Point Foundation. She is also an avid supporter of the Trevor Project (as a DC Ambassador and previous SF Ambassador) and supports the Human Rights Campaign and National Center for Lesbian Rights.
When not providing tax advice or supporting various LGBT non-profit organizations, Jennifer enjoys learning how to brew beer, running in local races (from 5K’s to Half Marathons), experiencing DC’s new restaurants, and attending sporting events.
Jennifer grew up in Schenectady, NY and graduated from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY with a BS in accounting. She has previous lived in Atlanta, Denver, and San Francisco.
