Calen D.B. Ouellette
Calen is a Chief Development Officer and Director of External Relations at the University of Southern California. In his capacity, he is responsible for managing and facilitating all fundraising, communication and marketing efforts targeting the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC including the Divisions of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, as well as Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Respectively, all number one program in the world. Currently, in a $6 billion fundraising campaign, the University of Southern California continues to set records for higher education.
Calen has been employed with USC for more than eight years and prior to his time with the university, he worked in public relations and marketing supporting such brands as Gillette, Oral-B, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, McDonalds, Pharmavite, and the X-Prize Foundation.
Calen is originally from Montana and has resided in Washington State and New York City. He has called Los Angeles home for nearly 13 years. Calen received his B.A. in Communications and Marketing from Washington State University and coursework in Communications Management at the USC Annenberg School for Communication. He looks to start his MBA in 2014.
