Mike Piacentini

Digital & Technology Manager

Mike is originally from Connecticut and holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Colby College in Maine. After graduating, he spent some time in Boston where he worked in development and marketing at From the Top, a nonprofit dedicated to youth music education and outreach, including a classical music program on NPR.

Mike landed in Los Angeles after volunteering with the Sundance Film Festival. He comes to Point Foundation following almost three years at Film Independent, a nonprofit that supports independent filmmakers and produces the Los Angeles Film Festival and Film Independent Spirit Awards.

When he’s not wearing his nerd hat, Mike is a SAG actor, foodie, and avid weightlifter.

 

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
